I do love a good mirror pic. This old French shutter mirror was bought in a shop on Deal High Street, @123highstreet 🪞 I remember walking past it (there were 2) and thinking, oh aren’t you perfect for @thehouseindeal 🪞 So we bought them both! #shoplocal #mirrormirroronthewall
Today is a good day! Last night my crowdfunder for my other account @theachopsbooks ended raising over £200 more than its £5,000 target! 6 weeks of emails, posting, stories, WhatsApps, reels… it was exhausting!! But finally last night became so worth it. I can now send out over 1,000 books to UK primary schools! I could not be happier. But just today, I’m giving myself permission to take it slowly, drink good coffee (thank you @spinachlondon ) walk my pup pup @jasperhemming and relax. #slowdays #crowdfunded #relax
Missing Deal so much; the sound of the sea! But am being kept busy over on my @theachopsbooks account as my #crowdfunder finishes on Friday morning. I’m trying to raise £5,000 and put 1,000 copies of my award winning children’s book, How Frank Helped Hank in key stage 1 classrooms in UK schools. We’re currently 64% and we don’t receive a penny of what has been donated so far unless we hit our £5k target. So if you can spare a fiver today, please do consider donating. The only things I have ever brought into the house and kept alive are my daughter and @jasperhemming the pup pup. I even killed a cactus once and people say they’re indestructible. So living plants are not my thing sadly. Enter stage left @ikeauk #fauxflowers #stayinalive 🌸
